Bollywood actress Radhika Apte's leaked sex scene movie "Parched" will be released in India soon.
"Parched" producer and leading Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn took on his twitter account to announce the India release date of the Leena Yadav-directed controversial film, NDTV Movies reported.
The "Shivaay" actor said his production house would release the movie in India on Sept. 23. "Presenting PARCHED... 18Awards, 24 International film festivals across continents. Releasing 23rd Sep Trailer on 9th September," Devgn wrote.
"Parched," an internationally acclaimed women centric Hindi film that also stars Tannishtha Chatterjee and Surveen Chawla in lead roles, has garnered lot of attentions at Toronto and Melbourne film festivals. The movie was recently in the news after a sex scene was leaked on social networking platform WhatsApp, Indian Express reported. The leaked video, which shows actress Radhika Apte involved in an intimate scene with her co-actor Adil Hussain, immediately went viral on social media and internet.
Apte, in a recent media interview, said that the leak did not affect her in any way, adding that it has only helped her to get comfortable with her body. "I was really shocked and I couldn't believe that people were making it bigger and bigger and they had no sensitivity of any sort," she said.
This is second time Radhika Apte's nude scenes from her movie leaked online. Last year, the "Kabali" actress' nude scene from an Anurag Kashyap directed short film "Prada" leaked. The "Badlapur" actress, who was last seen in "Kabali" opposite superstar Rajinikanth, is likely to work with another South Indian star Dhanush in a Tamil film.
