Bollywood actor cum directed Ajay Devgn is now set to release the first song from his upcoming action thriller "Shivaay."
The "Singham" star is going to unveil the first song from his upcoming movie on all digital platforms including YouTube on Sept. 11. The song is titled "Aag Bahe Teri Rag Mein" and is sung by Mohit Chauhan and composed by Mithoon, Koimoi reported.
The 47-year-old "Once Upon a Time in Mumbai" actor recently shot a music video for title track of the movie. Devgn revealed that the "Shivaay" title track would be kept under wrap until movie's release. "I don't want to show how the title track appears in the film as I want the audience to first see it as a big screen experience," the "Drishyam" actor said, DNA India reported. "It is something that has never been done before"
Ajay Devgn, who is playing lead role in "Shivaay," is also returning to direction with the movie after a gap of a nearly a decade. Shivaay will be clashing with Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma' romance drama "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" at box office this Diwali (October 28). Devgn last week accused "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" director Karan Johar of bribing film critic Kamaal R Khan (KRK) to criticize "Shivaay."
The recently released trailer of the movie has already garnered more than 18 million hits on YouTube and is still going strong. Apart from Ajay Devgn, "Shivaay" also stars Sayyeshaa Saigal, Erika Kaar, Ali Kazmi, Vir Das and Bijou Thaangjam in key roles. Check out trailer of the movie here.
