Aside from having a better camera than its predecessor, the iPhone 7 Plus will reportedly have 3 GB of RAM and a better chip under the hood.

In a seemingly verified benchmark of the iPhone 7 Plus, the larger screen variant has a listed 2998 MB RAM, Geekbench reported. The benchmark test came with a TENAA certification to back the claim.
Likewise, the benchmark also shows that the A10 Fusion chip found in the iPhone 7 Plus performs 40 percent better than the A9x found in iPad Pro. The A10 chip is potentially underclocked at 2.3Ghz and is capable of running up to 2.45GHz if the speculations are true, Macrumors reported. This makes the iPhone 7 Plus twice as fast as the iPhone 6 with tripled graphics performance.
Despite having more RAM and a faster processor, Apple claims that the 5.5-incher phablet should offer an additional one hour of battery life compared to the iPhones 6s Plus. iPhone 7 Plus' A10 houses four-cores that are designed to strike a balance between handling system intensive tasks and less intensive processes.
3 GB RAM may not be all that impressive for Android users but it certainly is for Apple users. Unlike its Android counterpart, Apple is not one to make a big deal out of the internal hardware found in their device because its main selling point is its operating system that does not require a lot of power under the hood. Nonetheless, once confirmed, iPhone 7 Plus will sport the most RAM of any iPhone to date.
