A new cinematic trailer called "Black Friday" for the latest installment for "Dead Rising 4" has come out, featuring the return of the series' original hero, Frank West. The setting will take Frank West into the town of Willamette, Colorado.
Just like with most actual Black Friday deals made during the Christmas Holidays, VG 24/7 stated the trailer (shown in an animated style) showed several people looking at good opportunities during the event happening in the Willamette Memorial Megaplex Mall. As the next scene showed customers getting their hands on whatever good deals they see, hordes of zombies also found a treat in sinking their teeth in their shopping victims, with blood and gore in their wake. Soon, the mall was turned into a horrific slaughter house, with the full moon rising up ominously on top of it.
The fourth game of the "Dead Rising" series is set 16 years after the events of the first game, which focused on discovering about the mysterious nature of the epidemic, according to the official news wire of Xbox. As with the previous games, the entire area (being the Willamette Memorial Megaplex Mall and the nearby town) is now teeming with these shambling undead hordes.
There are also a few new baddies in "Dead Rising 4," ready to get a taste of Frank West. One is the zombie variant called the Fresh, a creature that seemingly might have gotten its inspiration from movies like "28 Days Later" and "World War Z" where once infected, the victim immediately converts into a raging fast zombie. Another variant is the Evo, a strong and agile zombie type as well that behaves like predatory animals.
The staple in all of the "Dead Rising" games is customizing different materials to make deadly (and straight out ridiculous) weapons and vehicles. "Dead Rising 4" is, of course, no exception. Coupling that with the feature of wearing a variety of costumes (again, with the flavor of outlandishness), players will enjoy inflicting a variety of destruction and pain on zombies. What's even better is that the latest game will also introduce the EXO suits, which further enhance the strength and power of Frank West's physical capabilities.
"Dead Rising 4" will be including a multiplayer feature as well. The feature will include up to four players to do co-op missions and also a quick match where players worldwide can join a game in progress.
"Dead Rising 4" is slated for release on Xbox One and PC on Dec. 6, 2016.
