Following the massive hype built around the launch of the new Apple iPhone 7, a new leak surfaces regarding Google's two upcoming smartphones: the HTC Pixel and the Pixel XL. The two Google flagship devices are expected to be launched in less than a month, and as the deadline looms closer, more leaks are shedding light regarding their respective specs.

The new set of leak includes several photos of the Pixel and the Pixel XL, along with a 360-degree video. The leak about Pixel, codenamed Sailfish, was posted through OnLeaks and reveals the unique design cue from HTC. The front panel of the Pixel and the Pixel XL is hauntingly familiar with that of the iPhone, except for the Home button, according to Slash Gear.

The leaked renders also revealed the chamfered sides of the two devices, along with the flat back and slight curved edges which is reminiscent of the HTC 10 design. The Pixel XL, which as the name suggests is slightly larger than the Pixel, sports a rather basic design. Since Google is rebranding its smartphone lineup from Nexus to Pixel, the Nexus branding on the back of the phones were removed and in its place is Google's G logo.

The new set of leaked photos also confirmed previously rumored hardware features of the upcoming Pixel lineup. One of which is the USB Type-C port which is located on the bottom of the smartphone. Also confirmed on the new leaks are the existence of dual stereo speakers which are installed on both sides of the USB Type-C port.

Regarding their specs, it is widely rumored that the HTC Pixel will have a Snapdragon 821 chipset with 4GB of memory, according to Android Authority. Storage space is also rumored to be at least 32GB. As seen in previous leaked renders, the fingerprint scanner is mounted on the rear panel, along with the 12-megapixel rear facing camera. The upcoming Pixel lineup of smartphones are expected to run on the newest version of Google's mobile operating system, Android 7.0 Nougat.
