Following Jessica Pearson's exit on Suits, Harvey and Louis will weigh their options as to whether or not they will accept Robert Zane's offer to merge their law firms.
In the midseason finale of "Suits" season 6, Jessica decided to leave the firm to get a fresh start with Jeff Malone in Chicago. Subsequently, it is expected that her decision will have ripple effects for the firm and the partners' future. Series creator/ showrunner Aaron Korsh recently revealed to TV Line that Jessica's void will find the remaining partners taking into consideration her merger idea.
"Robert Zane is going to have to decide, and we're going to wonder: Is he going to keep this offer on the table, or is he not?" Korsh told the publication.
"And whether he keeps it on the table or doesn't, how are Louis and Harvey going to respond to that? That is absolutely one of the focuses of [Episode] 611."
After exiting "Suits," Gina Torres has landed a new role on ABC's sophomore drama, "The Catch." According to Variety, the actress' character details are still being kept under wraps. She joins previously announced guest star, TR Knight (Grey's Anatomy).
Meanwhile, "Suits" Season 6B might also feature a wedding, the showrunner hinted. But viewers must have to wait and see to find out if the couple to tie the knot is Mike and Rachel or Louis and Tara.
"There could be zero, one, or two wedding," Korsh said.
"Suits" also stars Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, Meghan Markle and Rick Hoffman. Season 6 resumes sometime in 2017.
