EA recently released the trailer for their upcoming game "Battlefield 1." Set in the First World War, the trailer doesn't reveal much about the game itself but it offers a glimpse on the storyline gamers will follow on single player missions.
"Battlefield 1" is mostly known for its immersive gaming experience placed against the brutal warfare of World War 1. The collaboration between players is notable as it features different types of guns, tanks and other war pieces set in the bloody war.
But the game is more than just collaboration in order to defeat the enemy. EA recently released the trailer for the game and it focuses on first person missions at war. According to PC Gamer, the trailer may have a simple theme of fighting for the right cause but the campaign takes the player to France, Belgium, London and even Egypt which gives the player different perspectives about the war.
The unique feature of "Battlefield 1" single player mission is the different types of playable character. Each character has a role in the war and the mission is more than just blowing some things up or assassinating a known enemy. The characters will have supporting roles on World War 1 since they will have to work their way to the top - or at least not getting killed.
The game's official website provided a glimpse in one of the playable characters: Danny Edwards. Volunteered to fight for his country, Edwards is a tank driver who has to learn about the realities of war as well as taking advantage of the equipment. Aside from the technical aspect of the war, he also has to deal with his team mates as he will also try to earn their support.
While the trailer for the first person mode of "Battlefield 1" is already online, the game's open beta recently concluded. EA will be making some changes on the game as they remove and add features based on the feedback of the gamers who took part in game testing.
EA is set to release the game on Oct. 21 on multiple platforms. Watch the cinematic trailer of the upcoming game below.
