South Korean singer and actress Kahi has recently given birth to a baby boy. This news was announced by the star’s talent management agency Pledis Entertainment.
According to Soompi, the agency revealed that Kahi gave birth to her son on Oct. 3 at 11:33 in the morning at a hospital in Gangnam. The news source added that the baby weighed 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs).
“It's true Kahi gave birth this morning. Both the mother and child are healthy," Kahi’s talent management agency told Star News.
In August, Kahi became Elle magazine’s featured star for the month of September. In the article, the actress showcased her alluring looks and promoted a campaign ad by 'Biotherm's titled “Since mom-to-be are also women”.
In one of the shots, the star was standing and leaning against the wall while gently holding her belly. Her composed and contented image also appeared very natural in front of the camera.
Kahi revealed her pregnancy to the public through her label in May. In a report by All Kpop, the former After School member confessed that she was not aware that she is already bearing a child until she had undergone a test in a hospital.
Born as Park Ji Young, Kahi rose to fame after joining the girl group After School in 2010. Two years after, she left the group to pursue a solo career.
Presently, Kahi is married to Incase Korea CEO Yang Jun Mu. The couple got married in March this year at a private wedding ceremony in Hawaii.
