"My Hero Academia" is one of the increasingly popular anime and manga series today for its unique interpretation of superheroes since they are not just born - they are practically made through rigorous training in an academy. The first season just ended and fans are eagerly waiting the next season following the adventures of the lead character Izuku.

The first season of "My Hero Academia" ended in June 2016 with 13 episodes according to My Anime List. The first season introduced the world of heroes, the academy where they study to be better than who they are and the lead character who dreams to be one of the best in the world: Izuku Midoriya. There's just one problem: he's actually powerless and may not be at par with his classmates.

The anime series chronicled the live of Izuku in his quest to be part of the academy for heroes while finding a way to make himself powerful and useful to his teachers and classmates. After 13 episodes, Izuku was instrumental in saving All Might - one of the strongest superhero while setting up the villains who aims to destroy the academy and the superheroes altogether.

Although the premiere of the second season is still unknown, fans of the anime and manga series should be glad that the series is coming back for more. According to Anime News Network, the series is coming back for a brand new season although the plot and the story arcs it will cover are still unknown.

Warning: possible spoilers for season 2!

Fans familiar with the manga series of the same name are familiar with the story arc that just ended in season one. The upcoming season will feature more hijinks from Izuku but the presence of the villains is felt stronger than ever as they try to attack the students in training outside school. The villains were not successful in the encounter but they were able to capture Katsuki Bakugo.

They tried to convert Katsuki as a villain but unable to do so as he was eventually rescued. The fight sequences during the attacks and rescue should be very interesting especially for Izuku.

The second season for "My Hero Academia" is expected to be released next year. But for now, here's the teaser for the upcoming episodes of the popular anime series:
