Game studio The Coalition has come up with an update for its servers for the latest "Gears of War" title. The update is said to allow players to earn Credits, the currency in the game, easier.

The said update features the cost of an Elite Pack to be cheaper by 500 credits - that is, from 4,000 to 3,500 Credits, according to the developer's blog post. The update also increased the reward amount of bonus Credits earned from a match in the Versus Multiplayer mode.

The changes made from The Coalition were due to the feedbacks of players and data monitored. Thanks to this, the game studio was able to address the previous calculations of the Credit rewards being "under expectations" and improve this.

The post also reports that the update, however, also displays zero Credits earned for the players who played the match. This may be a result of a minor bug with the update, but it shouldn't anything to be worried about since players are still earning Credits with their actual balance being displayed in their Credit wallets in the servers.

Kotaku also reports that they tested the "Gears of War 4's" multiplayer gameplay for hours. However, a lot of those hours were spent in trying to wait and find players to play with, despite trying different methods to fix this.

Developers of the game are trying their best to "[work] around the clock" to fix and polish "Gears of War 4," especially in regards to the matchmaking issues in its multiplayer mode. They're to come up with a fix sometime "in the near future."
