"Game of Thrones" front runners to the Iron Throne Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen could forge an alliance to take King's landing from Cersei Lannister.
The set photos reveal that Emilia Clarke and Kit Harrington filmed a scene together at the islet of Gaztelugatxe in Basque Contry, Watchers on the Wall reported. The scene is believed to be the meeting between Jon and Daenerys soon after the latter landed in Westeros.
This reveals that Jon will probably leave the North in the upcoming season or that Daenerys will take a detour to meet Jon. However it is also possible that the two will met at the Dragonstone, Screen Rant reported.
The images were non-combatant in nature which adds fuel to the speculations that the two will form an alliance as these characters represent the title of "Song of Ice and Fire" where the series is loosely based. Other fans are giddy at the possibility Daenerys and Jon may eventually come together and marry to rule the Seven Kingdoms together.
Do note that none of these theories have been confirmed. It is entirely possible that the series will be steered in a completely different direction to blindside its viewers. The seventh book of "Song of Ice and Fire" is yet to be released therefore, fans cannot hit the books for clues on what might happen in "GoT." So far, the only thing that has been confirmed is Gendry's return.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 will arrive on HBO in summer of 2017.
