The PC-exclusive sci-fi turn-based tactics video game "XCOM 2" developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games has been recently released for PS4 and Xbox One. Along with the actual release of the full game, the DLC "Shen's Last Gift" has also been recently released on said platforms.
At the cost of $9.99 USD, the downloadable content runs at a file size of 491 MB. The PlayStation Store was actually able to pitch in the description of the game (thanks to Dualshockers):
"Investigate ADVENT's 'Lost Towers' facility where Chief Engineer Lily Shen accompanies your squad in search of her late father's secretive final project. Discover a unique new soldier class complete with powerful new combat abilities, strategy mechanics, and customization options."
According to an earlier article in Gamespot¸ the alien-themed turn-based strategy game was originally for the PC, but has now been recently ported for the PS4 and Xbox One platforms. The game's season pass, the Reinforcement Pack, has also been made available at $24.99 USD. A bigger bundle called the Deluxe Edition has also been made available at $74.99 USD that packages the game and the Reinforcement Pack.
"XCOM 2" is set in 2035, 20 years after the events of "XCOM: Enemy Within." Here, the players will have to fight for the last remaining human resistance that is the XCOM force since the alien invaders have won the campaign against Earth.
The game has received generally good reviews with critics praising its procedurally generated maps and the inclusion of mod support.
