Kristian Nairn is an electronic music producer and a DJ. If that name still doesn't ring a bell, he's the actor that played Hodor from the "Game of Thrones" series. According to Blizzard, Nairn will be a DJ at the upcoming Blizzcon 2016.
Gamespot reports that the actor/DJ will be at the Blizzard's 25th anniversary bash that's held on Friday, Nov. 4 at the Grand Plaza outside the Anaheim Convention Center, from 8-10 PM PT. While Blizzcon has been sold out, the event is free and open to the public. In addition to the themed food and drinks, a band called Songhammer will be performing at a concert. The band actually won a contest to perform at the event.
Other news about the event involves "Weird Al" Yankovic performing at the closing of Blizzcon 2016 on Saturday (Nov. 5).
Speaking of Nairn, an earlier article covered the "Game of Thrones" actor being an avid gamer, especially being a hardcore fan of the "World of Warcraft" MMO and even voicing an orc for the "Warlords of Draenor" expansion. He also expressed that he spends "way too much" time playing games, playing on either his gaming laptop or his mobile phone. He also signed a marketing agreement with the mobile game "King of Avalon."
"I've been playing games since the ZX Spectrum," said the actor who played Hodor. "Before that I had Atari computers as well. I've always been a gamer."
For the "Game of Thrones" side of things, the next season will premiere in 2017.
