Sunday's episode of "The Walking Dead" aptly titled "The Well," finally introduced The Kingdom storyline, a community based on Robert Kirkman's comic book series.

After last week's brutal season opener, "The Walking Dead" shifted to a lighter tone by exploring on the peaceful communit of The Kingdom while also allowing viewers to meet Ezekiel, another iconic character from the comics. The character, portrayed by Khary Payton, used to be a zookeeper who's now keeping a pet tiger (Shiva) under his care. But what made the second hour more interesting is the fact that Ezekiel's first meeting with Carol might develop into something more.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Payton talked about the potential romantic storyline brewing between the two. Should they hit it off, does this guarantee Carol a chance of a happy ending in the middle of a chaotic, post-apocalyptic world?

"I totally think that's possible, the actor told the publication.

"But I don't know if it will or won't happen. This relationship [with Ezekiel and Carol] is one where there's enough of an attraction for there to be a relationship down the road but at the same time, there's also so much more that needs to be done that that's not necessarily the end game for either one of them."

While the actor remains hopeful, it is still a bit too early to tell. Viewers are still in for another fourteen episodes down the line, so anything could happen at this point. Also, Negan is still out there torturing Rick and has held Daryl in captive. As far as romantic arcs are concerned in the world of zombies, it can happen but they usually just end on a tragic note.

Meanwhile, plot details abound on next Sunday's episode have emerged online. It previews that a new group of survivors who seem to have it all in their impressive community will be introduced. However, it continued with a warning that "there is a price" to be paid.

An all new episode of "The Walking Dead" titled "The Cell," airs on Sunday Nov. 6 at 9PM on AMC.
