"Supergirl" actress Melissa Benoist revealed a few details about the upcoming crossover event in small screen comic book universe, "Arrowverse."
In an interview, Benoist said that the crossover between the DC heroes will be fun. She also revealed how her character will react upon meeting other heroes for the first time, Entertainment Weekly reported.
"I think Kara just wanted to be accepted and be like a part of the cool kids, and I felt the same way. It was so fun to be in this big group setting where everyone... It was like this infectious environment where we all.. It felt really cool. But she had good interactions with almost everyone there," she said.
The four-episode event will run in the new episodes of each series titled, "Invasion." The story arc involves the emergence of DC Comics villains known as "The Denominators," Screen Rant reported.
Speaking about the event, "The Flash" actor Grant Gustin compared it previous episodes of "Legends of Tomorrow."
"It's just a lot bigger. Last year was Flash and Arrow and now... We have 17 characters in multiple scenes and almost everyone interacts with every other character, at a certain points. So, it's huge! Huge," he said.
Plot details about each of the shows are being kept secret for now. In the meantime, producer Greg Berlanti teased that it will be like watching a 3-hour movie in the middle of the whole season.
"Arrowverse" includes "Arrow," "The Flash," "Legends of Tomorrow," and "Supergirl." All shows air under respective schedules in CW.
