After "Doctor Strange," the next line-up in the MCU will be "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Spider-Man: Homecoming," and "Thor: Ragnarok" all in 2017. Incidentally, all of his cameos were shot by "Guardians of the Galaxy" director James Gunn, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Lee had not played the same role twice. During Canada's Fan Expo, the Marvel guru was asked whether he gets to choose his role in each film. To which he playfully said:
"Oh no, no, they decide. If I was deciding it would be a half hour role. They only give me a few seconds, and they're afraid I'll overshadow the star. You know how that is."
Lee appears on Marvel movies including those distributed by Sony and Fox. Many of his cameos were intended for comedic effect and it should be no surprise that his next appearances will be placed to illicit a chuckle.
