Wilson Chandler was out in the Sunday game against Boston Celtics due to his hamstring injury. He missed the game against Grizzlies and still undetermined to play in Thursday game against the Warriors.

Prior to his hamstring tightness that forced him out of the game, Chandler has contributed well as reported by CBS Sports. Chandler posted 22 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 25 minutes before exiting.

Chandler tested his hamstring in the practice session Tuesday morning, before the game against Memphis Grizzlies. But he decided to give more time to recover from injury and missed the game. Eventually, Memphis Grizzlies defeated Denver Nuggets by one point 107-108 in a very tight game.

Last season Chandler was out for the entire season following surgery to fix labral tear in his right hip in November 2015. He has been fully recovered this season according to The Denver Post. Since he return, the 29-year old forward continued his great contribution to the team since returning to Denver in 2012.

Chandler was drafted by New York Knicks as the 23rd overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft. He played four season with the Knicks before traded to Denver Nuggets in 2011 for Carmelo Anthony. During the 2011 NBA lockout, he played in Chinese Basketball Association for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions for one full season.

The 6’8” forward returned to NBA in 2012 to Denver Nuggets, signing a $37 million contract for 5 years. Since his return, he averaged 13.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game before a hip injury sidelined him for the entire season

His tenacity brings him back to his form in this season. The Nuggets now have new coach Michael Malone with a new system. But, Chandler shows his remarkable adaptation since the pre-season and the regular season. He averaged 15.6 points and 6.1 rebounds in the beginning of the season.
