The PS4 Pro has already gotten numerous game companies on the rush to improve their visuals. One such game is Square Enix's "NieR: Automata."
According to Game Rant, "NieR: Automata" producer, Yosuke Saito, has already confirmed that the upcoming title will be getting configured for Sony's newest PlayStation 4 Pro platform. Developer Platinum Games has been aiming for 4K quality textures in gaming for the latest PS console while still trying 60 frames-per-second (FPS). Saito has at least confirmed that "NieR: Automata" will be optimized for that.
In earlier news, Saito already mentioned the possibility of the game being ported to other consoles like Xbox One and the NX. However, the final decision would have to depend on how successful the game will be on the PS4, and then he would be more inclined to develop the game for the Xbox One at least. "NieR: Automata" has already seen itself being developed for another platform on the PC, more specifically Steam.
"NieR: Automata" takes place in a Sci-Fi Fantasy/post-apocalyptic setting where mechanical aliens have taken over the earth. Players would have to take the role of 2B, a humanoid android to uncover the plot of these aliens and deliver the world back to the humans. Saito mentioned that the game will be more story-paced than pure action.
With the game being delayed already, "NieR: Automata" has already been finally scheduled for Feb. 23, 2017 release date but only for Japan in the meantime. The Western release has yet to have an exact release date, but so far the game is planned sometime later next year.
