Preview

Cleveland has won three straight games after suffering their only loss of the season so far against the Atlanta Hawks earlier this month.

They have beaten Washington and Charlotte in their next two games before nipping fellow Eastern Conference contenders Toronto Raptors, 121-117, on Tuesday night at their home court of Quicken Loans Arena, as per ESPN.

LeBron James led the Cavs with an almost triple-double performance of 28 points, nine rebounds, and 14 assists, shooting 10-for-15 from the field. He was backed up by Kyrie Irving, who had 24 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Kevin Love contributed a double-double with 19 points and 13 boards while Tristan Thompson fired 15 points and hauled down 11 rebounds to make four of head coach Tyronn Lue's starters score in double figures each.

JR Smith did not play for the second consecutive game with a sprained right ankle and is also doubtful in this match against the Pacers on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Indiana has lost three of their last five games as head coach Nate McMillan's boys has been inconsistent in their play as of late.

Their most recent game on Monday ended in an 88-69 rout of the Orlando Magic also at their home court following two straight close losses against the Sixers and Celtics, Fox Sports reported.

It was a balanced offensive attack for the Pacers as four starters scored in double figures, namely Paul George, Monta Ellis, Jeff Teague, and Thaddeus Young who had 13, 13, 11, and 11 points respectively.

George also had six rebounds, five assists, and two steals while Teague chipped in eight boards and five dimes with three shot blocks.

Off the bench, CJ Miles netted a game-high 16 points with four rebounds and two steals in 23 minutes of play.

Prediction

The Cavs are 3-0 in road games this season while the Pacers are 5-1 at home so far. Indiana is a tough home team capable of stopping their opponents on defense even when the players have a bad shooting night. However, Cleveland is on a roll right now and another win for James and his crew is predicted.
