A fresh face will be introduced on NBC's cop drama. "Chicago PD" has cast Revenge alum Nick Wechsler in Season 4.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wechsler will play Kenny Rixton, a former protege of Voight (Jason Beghe) during his days at the gang unit. The actor will make his PD debut beginning in episode 10 and will recur throughout the season. No word yet if he will stick around until the season finale and beyond.

Wechsler's casting on the cop drama comes as a preparation for the show to say goodbye to series regular Jon Seda, who will be moving to the show's spinoff "Chicago Justice."

Wechsler, known for playing Jack Porter on ABC's "Revenge," has also appeared on "The Player," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "Rosewell" and "Without a Trace."

Aside from Jon Seda's departure, this week's two-hour episode of "Chicago PD" (airing on Nov. 16) will also find Voight and the team investigating a homicide involving the only witness in a rape and murder case against an extremely young man. Elsewhere, viewers will learn that the body cameras of Sorensen (Kevin Kane) and Burgess (Marina Sqercati) have captured a bizarre exchange with a man that they pull over.

Titled "300,000 Likes," the episode will feature guest appearances of Monica Raymund, Monica Barbaro, Eric Lynch, Paul Perroni and Mike Vieau.

Created and executive produced by Dick Wolf and Derek Haas, "Chicago PD" also stars Jesse Lee Soffer, Sophia Bush, Patrick Fulger, Elias Koteas, LaRoyce Hawkins and Amy Morton.
