Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio is frustrated with his team 3-7 records in the beginning of the season. He urged the team to learn and change their game.

The Timberwolves case is a confusing one as reported by CBS Sports. The team hired Tom Thibodeau who is known for his defensive strategy, but they ranked at the 28th position in the defensive rating. While in the offensive rating, they ranked 4th below the Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors.

Thibodeau is the best coach to organize defense. He helped Boston Celtics to have the best defense in 2008 NBA playoffs. The success of Celtics to win the 2008 NBA championship defeating LA Lakers was mainly due to the defensive strategy to contain Kobe Bryant. When he was the head coach of Chicago Bulls for five seasons in 2010 to 2015, the Bulls was also known for their defense.

However, strange things happen in the Timberwolves that hired him in April 2016. The 3-7 records show and the bad second half in every game showed the Timberwolves need to maintain their consistency.

Rubio is already fed up with the situation. According to SLAM Online, Rubio acknowledged this season, Minnesota Timberwolves has become the best team he has ever been. But the team seem to fall apart for one full quarter every game and they haven’t learned anything from that.

"It's one quarter every game that keeps us far from where we want to be,” Rubio said. "This is the best team I've ever been around. I get mad thinking that we're wasting time. We're not learning. it's time to change"

After a glorious 125-99 victory over LA Lakers on Sunday Nov. 13, the team’s inconsistency was re-occurred two days later against Charlotte Hornets. The visiting team defeated them 108-115. However, they were back to become great team again on Thursday and win 110-86 against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Minnesota Timberwolves will play their 11th game this season visiting Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. This will be the battle between a scoring point guard Mike Conley against passing point guard Rubio.
