The 2016 Game Awards nominees announced; ‘Uncharted 4’ swings in with 8 nominations

(Photo : Twitter/thegameawards) Video gaming's biggest night, The Game Awards 2016 will be held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on December 1, 2016.

The 2016 Game Awards have finally announced the nominees for the 24 categories up for grabs this year. There were 63 games nominated across all the categories, with "Uncharted 4" topping the list.

 With eight nominations, "Uncharted 4" led the pack as it is in the running for Game of the Year, Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Narrative, and three nominations for Best Performance. Meanwhile, "Overwatch""Firewatch", and "Inside" each picked five nominations.

According to the Game Awards official website, the awards ceremony place on Thursday, December 1 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and will be streamed live. The rest of the nominees are listed below:
