The last fight of Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao, 37, is his trilogy bout with Timothy Bradley, 32. Carried by HBO Pay-Per-View, the event will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 9.

It appears that Pacquiao is serious about his retirement as he is going full-time as a politician in the Philippines. He is running for a senate seat in his country.

"It's sad to say that this is my last fight with Tim Bradley," Boxing Scene quoted Pacquiao as saying. "It's sad to say that after this, I'm going to retire and hang up my gloves and focus on another big responsibility in life and that's to help other people in my country of the Philippines."

"Don't miss it because this is my last fight," Pacquiao told his fans. "And you'll never see me fight again."

What Pacquiao wanted was to end his boxing career in a good way. He said he never thought he would accomplish what he did in boxing, being an eight-division world champion.

Paquiao believes that God has his purpose and He raised him from something to nothing bcause how, he can help other people.

In addition, Paquiao admitted that he did not know boxing during his early days as a boxer as he merely boxed to help his family, especially his mother. Now, he takes pride in ending his boxing career to help the Filipino people.

Bradley has started his preparations for the upcoming fight with Paquiao. On Jan. 19, he attended t news conference in Los Angeles to open the promotion for their third fight.

"I need six good weeks and I'm ready," Las Vegas Review-Journal quoted Bradley as saying. "I'm going to train hard like I always do, but I'm also going to train smart."

Bradley added, "Here's the thing. We know Pacquiao. There's no secrets. We know what he's going to do."

Having been in the ring with Pacquiao twice, Bradley pointed out that he knows what to expect and they are already familiar with the Filipino boxer. This is why they just want to make sure that nothing is overlooked but they do not need eight weeks to prepare, he said.
