Kim Jong Kook cannot hide his true feelings to Yoon Eun Hye as "Running Man" urged him to spill the beans on Jan. 8.
According to Allkpop, cast members of "Running Man" had to be asked about certain things under a lie detector test. When it was Kim Jong Kook's turn to take the challenge, he was asked about his feelings towards Yoon Eun Hye.
"Do you still like Yoon Eun Hye?" Song Ji Hyo asked Kim Jong Kook who answered with a firm "No." However, the lie detector machine stated the singer and TV personality lied about his answer.
The "Running Man" cast members then teased Kim Jong Kook, who defended and explained himself that it was all a misunderstanding, addressing it to Yoon Eun Hye.
Previous reports revealed Kim Jong Kook branded Yoon Eun Hye as his ideal type, Drama Fever cited. He even made a vague statement about his relationship with the actress. "When we were recording [for "X-Man" variety show], I would think of her as my woman," he said.
Kim Jong Kook continued, "Within this, if a woman who was coupled up with me was being asked out by another man, I thought that I'd have to protect her."
After the revelations, fans started a social media campaign calling out Yoon Eun Hye to appear on "Running Man." Kim Jong Kook reportedly felt sorry for causing such; hence, he personally called the actress to apologize.
A source said Kim Jong Kook felt he burdened the actress with his revelation on the show. Meanwhile, Yoon Eun Hye's management replied with a statement, revealing that the actress appreciated the effort of the "Running Man" cast member to apologize.
However, the actress thought it was not a big deal and something he should not be sorry about. Yoon Eun Hye reportedly said she is overwhelmed that her chemistry with Kim Jong Kook on "X-Man" has remained after 10 years.
