We have a unique game coming out that gives a nod to the classic ACSII dungeon crawlers of the yester years and it's called "Brut@l." Now studios Stormcloud Games and Rising Star Games have released two new trailers featuring two of the playable classes in the game.
According to Dualshockers, the two new classes featured are the Ranger and the Warrior. The first class, Ranger, uses the basic sword and shield to combat enemies. The second class mentioned, the Warrior, on the other hand, is a hard hitting tank that wields a giant hammer to destroy enemies.
For earlier news, Dualshockers also featured the Amazon and Wizard classes. The Amazon is a female combat class that uses a bow and arrow for a ranged attack, while the Wizard uses his magical staff to whack his enemies with and, of course, casts devastating spells on his enemies.
Like the regular RPG, "Brut@l" uses the leveling system as players use them to progress throughout the level, which can eventually unlock new skills and deadly combat abilities. The game also features Co-Op mode for online gaming.
Anyway, for those who want to be familiar with the game, here's the official overview from the game's Steam page:
"Brut@l is a modern re-imagining of the classic ASCII dungeon crawler, fusing old-school gaming with a stunning 3D visual style to create an adventure that's totally unique! Choose your hero - Ranger, Mage, Warrior or Amazon - and descend into a procedurally generated world constructed entirely from ASCII. Your goal? Reach the 26th floor, vanquish the fearsome Guardian of the Dungeon and claim his crown."
"Brut@l" was already released for the PlayStation 4 last year during the PLAY 2016 program. Following that a PC version was announced shortly.
"Brut@l" is already available for PS4 and will be available for PC on Feb. 9.
