The Suns defeated the Magic 107-104.

Orlando Magic are now standing at the crossroads int their effort to build a better roster, as they struggled to make play every game night. Therefore, they have to take a very serious decision before the trade deadline.

Regardless of the odds, Magic GM Rob Hennigan in the interview with Orlando Sentinel, said the team will be aggressive to pursue players before the trade deadline on Feb.23. He said that the Magic will be aggressive to improve the team which are now struggling.

“We need to explore every and all options to improve the team,” Hennigan said. “So we’re going to be aggressive.”

The Magic are in the confusing situation this season. They hired a defensive-minded coach Frank Vogel, and re-sign two strong defense-oriented players Serge Ibaka and Bismack Biyombo prior to season , but defense become their main problem. Hennigan also scknowledged this situation and he is also clueless with the reason.

Aside from Ibaka and Biyombo, Orlando Magic also have Elfrid Payton and Aaron Gordon which also recognized as elite defender in the league. However, they are listed listed as one of the worst 10 team in defense efficiency rating. They allow their opponent to score average 105.4 points in 100 posession, ranked 22nd place in the league.

According to FOX Sports, they must take a serious decision before the trade deadline. With a defensive-minded coach and a players with strong defensive trait, it is unbelievable for Orlando Magic to have such a poor defense.

The team is in need of a high-scoring wing player in the small forward and shooting guard position. They are now 19-30 and ranked at the bottom four in the East. However, the Magic made surprise on Sunday when they defeated Raptors, ranked 3rd in the East 114-113 in a tight game.
