The singer-actress, who recently turned 27 years old, shared a video of her celebrating with friends. Her friends sang "Happy Birthday," and before Bora blew out her candles she yelled, "Gong Yoo, I summon you!"
Allkpop reports netizens blasted Bora with negative comments, with noting that Bora shouldn't call a higher senior without using any honorifics. Another netizen wrote that this isn't the first time Bora attempted to catch the attention of a top actor. She previously did it with Lee Min Ho and several other actors.
Meanwhile, Gong Yoo has definitely won the hearts of viewers across the globe with his astounding performance in "Goblin." Due to the drama's immense popularity, various places in Canada where the show filmed on location are also gaining more interest.
In a recent broadcast of "Abnormal Summit," Guillaume Patry shared that "Goblin" has impacted Quebec, Canada positively as the drama beautifully captured the sights and sounds of the province, allkpop reports.
"'Goblin' beautifully captured Quebec. A lot of Korean people have been visiting the hotels and other places shown in the drama," Patry said on the show. Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun filmed different scenes in Quebec, with the stunning French architecture of the place serving as the drama's backdrop.
Korean drama series filming in foreign locations often affect the tourism in those areas. In "Descendants of the Sun," Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's characters visited the famous beach in Zakynthos, Greece where a shipwreck sits in place.
