Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid, Enrique Gil, Maine Mendoza nominated for Favorite Pinoy Personality in Nickelodeon's Kids’ Choice Awards

Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid, Enrique Gil and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza will be competing under the Favorite Pinoy Personality category in the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards (KCA).

In 2015, Daniel Padilla was nominated for Favorite Asian Act. While the "Pangako Sa'Yo" star eventually lost to Indonesian group JKT 48, he was hailed the Nickelodeon's Global Slime Star.

Apart from Bernardo, Reid, Gil and Mendoza, Jeron Teng from the De La Salle Green Archers was also nominated as Favorite Asian Sports Star. He will go up against Singaporean footballer Irfan Fandi, Indonesian footballer Kim Kurniawan and Malaysian driver Pandelela Rinong.

The winners for all category will be determined through online voting via the Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards website, the Nick app on iPad, iPhone, Kindle and select Android devices. They can also vote on Twitter by using #KCA and the hashtag of their favorite nominee. Fans can vote as many times as they want starting February 2.

 Meanwhile, Selena Gomez leads the nominations as she has been nominated for four awards. She is up against Amy Poehler from "Inside Out," Jennifer Lopez from "Home," Jim Parson from "Home," Justin Long from "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip" and Sandra Bullock for "Minions." She is also up for Favorite Collaboration and Favorite Female Singer. "Hotel Transylvania 2" is also nominated for Best Animated Movie.

Meanwhile, ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and best friend Taylor Swift both received three nominations.

Swift was nominated for Favorite Female Singer, Favorite Song of the Year and Favorite Collaboration for "Bad Blood."

Bieber was nominated for Favorite Male Singer, Favorite Song of the Year for "What Do You Mean?" and Favorite Collaboration for "Where Are U Now" with Skrillex and Diplo.

Meanwhile, Adele also has a chance of taking home two awards: Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Song of the Year for "Hello."
