"Goblin" star Lee Dong Wook will kick off his Asian fan meeting tour in Seoul on March 12. In fact, tickets for the upcoming gathering went on sale on Friday, selling 1,500 seats in just one minute.
According to Soompi, "Lee Dong Wook" and "Lee Dong Wook fan meeting" were among the most searched keywords on several online websites even before the ticket sales opened.
Previous reports stated the Korean actor has been gearing up to meet his Asian fans despite his busy schedule. After his fan meeting at Bluesquare Samsung Card Hall, Lee Dong Wook will fly to other Asian countries starting April for his "4 My Dear" fan meeting tour.
"As [Lee Dong Wook] has not met with fans in a long time, we will prepare our best, so that both actor and fans can interact enjoyably and create great memories [together]," King Kong by Starship said.
Amid excitement for his upcoming "4 My Dear" in Seoul, the "Goblin" actor issued a warning against resellers of his fan meeting tickets. Allkpop cited Lee Dong Wook took to his Instagram account Saturday to notify his fans of illegal ticket sales.
The 35-year-old actor said he received several reports of illegal tickets being sold simultaneously after ticket sales were opened on Friday. Lee Dong Wook said unofficial outlets are reportedly selling his fan meeting tickets at a higher price.
"We're asking you not to buy tickets from anywhere except the official Interpark ticketing office. On the day of the fan meeting, your entry may not be permitted if your ticket is illegal or premium," his agency announced.
King Kong by Starship reminded fans that patronizing illegal resellers is considered against the law. Hence, the agency asked fans to buy tickets from their authorized outlet and not on social media, secondhand trading websites and blogs.
Tickets and reservations for Lee Dong Wook's "4 My Dear" fan meeting in Seoul are available on Interpark.
