Production is underway for the highly awaited "Marvel's Inhumans" in Honolulu, Hawaii, and the first few photos from the set have come out. Here's everything we know so far about the upcoming show.

What is "The Inhumans" TV show about?

The Inhumans are a race of super-powered beings led by the Attilan Royal Family that is comprised of Black Bolt, Medusa, Karnak and Lockjaw, to name a few. In the comic books, the city of Attilan where The Inhumans reside is located in the Blue Area of the Moon.

According to Game Spot, "The Inhumans" Season 1 will run with eight episodes on ABC. It will be the first TV series to have its first two episodes premiere worldwide in IMAX theaters before they hit the small screen.

"The Inhumans" cast

"The Inhumans" recently released its full cast. As per EW, "Hell on Wheels" star Anson Mount is playing Black Bolt, the show's lead character and King of the Inhumans. Showrunner describes the character as someone "whose deep complexity must be conveyed without uttering a single word" since his voice is so powerful it can destroy a city.

Black Bolt's wife, Medusa," will be played by "Smallvile" alum Serinda Swan. "Game of Thrones" star Iwan Rheon is on board as Maximus. The character is reminiscent of Rheon's role in "GOT" especially in terms of lust for power. This time however, he has a bit of good in him, as Maximus is said to be very devoted to the people of Attilan and his brother, Black Bolt.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actor Ken Leung is playing Karnak, who has the ability to see an error in all things. He is Black Bolt's strategist. Eme Ikwuakor is playing Gorgon, cousin of Black Bolt and leader of Attilan's military.

Isabelle Cornish is playing Crystal, younger sister of Medusa. Mike Moh is cast as Triton, Black Bolt's cousin. Sonya Balmores is playing Auran, the Head of the Royal Guards of Attilan.
