Marvel has finally revealed the actors who will star in the upcoming "Inhumans" television series. "Graceland" star Serinda Swan has been tapped to play Medusa.

Swan is best remembered for her role in the defunct series "Graceland" as an undercover cop. This will not be her first foray in the superhero genre having starred before in "Smallville."

Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb has already confirmed the news and said that he is excited to have her on board on the project, Entertainment Weekly reported.

"Serinda empowers Medusa's regal glory and still maintains a relatability that synced perfectly with the character. She is nothing short of wonderful," he said.

"Inhumans" showrunner Scott Buck also has some nice words for Swan and expressed his support for the casting choice. He said Swan brings a sense of inner strength and fierce determination to the role and expresses that he could not be any happier to her play the character.

Swan joins "Hells on Wheels" and fellow "Smallville" actor Anson Mount and Iwan Rheon who will play Black bolt and Maximus the Mad respectively. In addition to the already impressive lead cast of actors, it had also been confirmed that Owen Harn and Eliana Jones will join them as Gorgon and Crystal. On the other hand, actor Donnie Yan has expressed interest in joining the cast as Namor, Screen Rant reported.

The series was originally planned as a movie under the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But since Marvel introduced the concept in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," the project has been reportedly shelved until it was officially announced that it has been changed as a television.

"Inhumans" will shooting in Hawaii. The series is set be shown on IMAX Theaters for two weeks prior to its television debut on September 26, 2017 on AMC. Watch the video below for more information about the project:
