Comic book legend Stan Lee will have a cameo on the latest Marvel mini-series "The Defenders" on Netflix. A series of set photos featured lee and also revealed Sigourney Weaver's character as a schemer.
A Reddit user posted a photo from the set of the series featuring Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones in a good mood, Screen Rant reported. The context of the scene is yet unknown but the image behind her is Stan Lee's face in an NYPD poster with a tag "Not all heroes wear capes!"
While Lee has yet to make an actual appearance in any Marvel television shows at this point, this is not the first time that Lee's face can be seen on various print materials in the Netflix shows. So far, there is no news yet on whether he will do so in the near future.
Elsewhere, it has been revealed by an officially released set photo that Weaver's character Alexandra will be a schemer who may have some sinister intentions, Screen Geek reported. In a set photo, she is seen taking to an unknown person at the back of a car.
Weaver's inclusion in the project was met with positive reactions by fans when it was announced last year. Having established herself as one of the most formidable actresses in cinema, fans think that she may have a big role in the series,
However, Weaver is noticeably absent in the majority of set photos that continuously surface online. Given her caliber as an actress, it would be curious to see just how large a role she has been given. Fans think that she might play the big baddie in "The Defenders" but it remains to be seen whether her influence will be enough to bring Matt Murdoch, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist to work together.
