Lee Min Ho is a living proof that friendship between celebrities can go beyond the four corners of the set. In fact, the Hallyu star recently showed his support to his "Heirs" co-actor Choi Jin Hyuk for his ongoing drama.
According to Soompi, the "Legend of the Blue Sea" actor sent a food truck on the set of "Tunnel" wherein Choi Jin Hyuk currently plays the lead role. "Hyung, eat a lot so you can do well!" Lee Min Ho wrote.
An insider stated all production members were able to enjoy Lee Min Ho's treat amidst filming of the OCN series. "Because of Hallyu star Lee Min Ho's gift, all the staff members were able to happily eat a delicious dinner," it said.
The source went on, "Plus, the atmosphere on set became noticeably brighter because of his surprise gift."
Lee Min Ho and Choi Jin Hyuk played as brothers in 2013 drama "Heirs." But even after the series concluded its 20-episode run, the two actors have been supporting each other's projects and endeavors.
In fact, the "Tunnel" actor even attended the premiere night of Lee Min Ho's "Gangnam Blues" along with Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, and Min Hyuk of of CNBLUE as per Yahoo.
After watching the film, Choi Jin Hyuk even expressed his desire to star action projects. "I always had a profound interest in noir genre, and I really want to play a very tough and manly character if I ever get a chance," he said.
Choi Jin Hyuk added he still communicates with his "Heirs" co-actors, especially Lee Min Ho, even after the series ended.
Meanwhile, "Tunnel" had an impressive start with a national average rating of 2.8 percent for its pilot episode aired March 25. Catch the OCN drama every Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 p.m.
