"xXx: Return of Xander Cage's" first teaser trailer has been released. Reportedly, the upcoming movie is going to be as high on the frantic action as its sequel "xXx: State of the Union" in 2005 and 2002.
The lead character's team will be in a race to retrieve a sinister and seemingly unstoppable weapon known as Pandora's Box. The "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" main character Xander will also be recruiting an all new team of thrill-seeking allies and finds himself caught in a deadly conspiracy that points to the involvement of the highest levels of world government.
Vin Diesel will be returning as the athlete in "xXx: Return of Xander Cage," who turned out to be a National Security Agency spy Xander Cage. Other returning cast member is Samuel L. Jackson who plays NSA agent Augustus Gibbons.
"xXx: Return of Xander Cage" will also star Toni Collette who is reportedly having the time of her life. In the "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" trailer, Collette's character said that they needed someone who can walk into a tornado and come out the other side like it was a gentle breeze. The "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" clip ended with Diesel's character saying he can definitely make it work.
"xXx: Return of Xander Cage" will be directed by DJ Caruso who also directed "Disturbia." The upcoming movie will cast an assortment of recognizable faces from the world of US television, including Ruby Rose from the "Orange is the New Black," Nina Dobrev from "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Hound," as well as Rory McCann from "Game of Thrones."
The "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" screenplay was revised by F. Scott Frazier from Chad St. John's original script, which will follow "xXx: Return of Xander Cage's" main character, Xander, Independent reported. The story will pick-up from when he comes out of exile and go after the deadly alpha warrior named Xiang (Donnie Yen).
"xXx: Return of Xander Cage" will be released in 2017. The upcoming movie will be packed with the series' signature deadpan wit and badass attitude, GQ reported. "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" is said to raise the bar on extreme action, with some of the most mind-blowing stunts to ever be caught on the "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" film.
