Game developer Capcom recently shared with gaming fans an image from the upcoming survival horror video game "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard." It shows some healing potions as well as a mysterious item that resembles a coin.
Members of the Resident Evil Ambassador program were able to have the first look at the upcoming game's healing items. An image was sent out to those subscribed to their newsletter, which shows two medicinal bottles containing some green liquid, some green herbs, and a coin. This was shared by a NeoGAF user named Sn4ke_911.
It seems that gamers will be using the Green Herb again as part of their first aid kit. This has appeared in every game in the series and is primarily used for physical strength. It can also be mixed with other colored herbs to gain different results, from giving additional potency or antidotes against poison.
However, no one knows about the coin. The discussion board was just full of more questions than answers on its use. Some fans are speculating that it could be some sort of an in-game currency that can then be used to purchase the healing items. One suggested that it could be used for a restart or revival. On the other hand, many are saying that it could be connected to the mysterious finger that was discovered during the early days of the demo.
Meanwhile, Capcom also released a demonstration footage of players using the PlayStation VR with "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard." It highlights the gamers' reactions when they experienced the "Kitchen."
"Biohazard" is an upcoming survival horror single player game. Players will take the role of the protagonist, like the other games in the series, and they need to fight back against mutated humans and zombies affected by the T-virus created by Umbrella Corporation.
"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is slated to be released worldwide on Jan. 24, 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The PlayStation VR will be supported by the game.
