Another interesting character is yet to be introduced on "The Walking Dead" Season 7. Early casting report reveals that the AMC smash is looking to cast a potential new villain to be introduced in the back half of the season.

According to SpoilingDeadFans, producers of "The Walking Dead" are currently casting the character of Brion, who is described as an "educated, poker-faced leader." Brion displays a stoic personality, but his confidence is always apparent. As a leader, his goal is to clear a pathway to survival for his group.

Even more intriguing, the casting calls for either a male or a female actor to take on the role. Whoever will be cast as Brion will appear in a recurring basis on "The Walking Dead" Season 7. His first two episodes are episodes 10 and 12, with the possibility of returning in the final two episodes.

The casting of Brion could be linked to the producers' plan to further expand the world of "The Walking Dead." Last month, executive producer Scott Gimple revealed to Comic Book that new groups will arrive in Season 7. But with the onset of Negan's reign, Brion's impending arrival certainly draws out more tension for Rick and the remaining survivors.

"We have these groups coming into the mix," Gimple previewed.

"Some of these groups, we've only seen hints of, like the Saviors. They exist in their own society."

"The Walking Dead" stars Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, Danai Gurira and Lauren Cohan. Season 7 premieres on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9PM on AMC.
