Super Junior’s Leeteuk speaks up amid controversy following EXO’s filming of ‘Star 360’; Singer asks fans to stop fighting

Although "Star 360" has yet to start broadcasting, the upcoming program is currently in hot water after EXO-L complained about the poor management of the MBC Music program towards EXO and its fans.

The South Korean-Chinese boy group was invited to be the first-ever exclusive guests of "Star 360," hence; EXO was scheduled to film the episode on Tuesday as confirmed by SM Entertainment, Soompi noted.

Prior to the filming, "Star 360" announced 500 fans will be allowed to watch the filming of EXO for the variety program; however, the night did not end well as many EXO-L protested about the way they were handled by the securities of the variety program. Some fans even bombarded MC Leeteuk with hate comments after the Super Junior member reportedly came late during the filming.

While the word war between EXO-L and Leeteuk's fans continues, the 33-year-old idol has finally decided to speak up to meddle with the ongoing controversy. Through his Twitter account, the Super Junior member asks the fans from both parties to stop fighting.

"We wrapped up recording for "Star 360" very well. I think it's going to be daebak, but why is everyone talking about me? We recorded [the talk portion] well, I left for my radio show, then came back for the live recording, so please don't fight," Leeteuk said as quoted by Allkpop.

Although the singer has been receiving backlash after EXO's filming of "Star 360," his supportive fans came to rescue him and said the Super Junior member has nothing to be sorry. Some of Leeteuk's fans are also upset their idol has been drag to a controversy he has nothing to do with.

Meanwhile, watch out for EXO's guest appearance on "Star 360," which will start on September 19 at 11:00 pm KST.
