South Korean artist Lee Joon admits that he is impressed by After School member Nana’s acting skills during the press conference for his upcoming comedy film “Lucky”.
The 28-year-old actor confessed that Nana has lately captured his attention due to her excellent performance. He even added that he feels envious of the singer’s amazing talent.
"Nana has caught my eyes lately. I heard it's her first time acting, and I was envious because I couldn't believe she could be so good from the beginning," Lee said as quoted by All KPop.
He added: "I don't think I started acting late. These days, you live until you're 100."
Meanwhile, the official poster for “Lucky” featuring Lee and co-star Yoo Hae Jin has been recently released. Its teaser, on the other hand, was published on YouTube on Sept. 7.
“Lucky” unfolds the story of a man (portrayed by Lee) who stole a sauna locker keys own by a killer (played by Yoo), All Kpop reported. The two men later switched life as Yoo’s character suffered from amnesia after slipping on the floor, making his head hit the ground. The film will be shown in cinemas in October.
Born as Lee Chang Seon, Lee made his debut in the entertainment industry after joining the boy group MBLAQ, which stands for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality, alongside Seungho, G.O, Mir, and Thunder under the management of J. Tune Camp in 2009. After his contract ended in 2014, Lee pursued a solo career and starred in various films and TV drama series including “The Piper” and “Vampire Detective.”
