On Sept. 19, seven-member group INFINITE made their comeback with the release of a new EP called "INFINITE Only," alongside the official music video of "The Eye." During the media showcase of their sixth EP, the Korean boy group promised to do even better to reach the top.
INFINITE vocalist Woohyun said they do not consider themselves as the best, hence, the group vowed for continuous learning in order to grasp their goals. "All we can do is to make effort (every day) to reach the top spot. This applies to all of the members -- none of us are satisfied with our accomplishments in hand," Yonhap quoted him as saying.
"INFINITE Only" contains seven tracks including "Eternity," "AIR," "One Day," "Thank You," "Zero" and "True Love." The sixth mini-album is INFINITE's first release after 14 months.
Meanwhile, their track "The Eye" was described by Billboard as a throwback of the group's earlier days in the music industry. The official music video of the song showed the group's commendable choreography and signature moves.
Compared to INFINITE's previous releases, "The Eye" is somewhat diverse as it does not have rap portions in the song. Instead of dropping rapid audible blows, rappers Hoya and Dongwoo smoothly delivered their lines just as good as L, Sungjong and Sungyeol.
INFINITE debuted in 2010 under Woollim Entertainment. Prior to their formal debut, the group members appeared in "You Are My Oppa," while on June 9, INFINITE was formally introduced and made their first performance on stage on M Countdown.
The group had their first-ever concert in 2012 held at the Seoul Olympic Park with about 8,000 concertgoers. INFINITE has released a total of two Korean albums titled "Over The Top" and "Season 2" and two Japanese albums "Koi ni Ochiru Toki" and "For You."
