The five-member band SHINee recently announced that they are coming back on Oct. 5 with the release of a new album titled "1 of 1."
The announcement was made on SHINee's official Instagram account on Tuesday, alongside their comeback schedule for this week in the form of a retro calendar. Before their "1 of 1" album will be launched, SHINee will be uploading teasers everyday through their Instagram account, Allkpop noted.
Aside from that, the boy group will drop "SHINee's Pick!" everyday, which will serve as a short preview of their upcoming album. Their newest album "1 of 1" will be SHINee's fifth full length album, following "Odd" that was released in 2015.
According to Soompi, the boy group started their journey in 2008 with the release of a mini album called "Replay" under SM Entertainment. SHINee is known for their fashion trends, which became popular among students and was branded "SHINee trend."
In the same year, the five-member boy group released their first Korean studio album titled "The SHINee World." In 2011, SHINee made their debut in Japan under EMI Records Japan. The group also released a Japanese version of their mini album "Replay," which sold over 100,000 in the country.
Early this year, SHINee held their fourth nationwide Japanese tour called "SHINee World 2016," where they staged a total of 20 concerts in nine cities drawing more than 350,000 concertgoers.
Stay tuned and watch out for the return of SHINee with their newest album "1 of 1" on Oct. 5.
