During the comeback show of SHINee on Tuesday, Sooyoung revealed how she follows every performance of the boy group and how they have inspired Girls' Generation.
"I always watch SHINee's performances at the SMTOWN concerts. They make us think "we should perform like that." We often say to each other that SHINee seems like they dance every time as though it's their last," Sooyoung said as per Soompi.
SHINee's Minho said his co-member Key always remind the group to give it their all in every performance. "The thing that Key says to us the most is that we should do our best as though today's the last time," Minho replied to the Girls' Generation member.
Despite debuting a year ahead of the boy group, Girls' Generation's Sooyoung said they are envious of SHINee's "passion and energy" in their craft.
Meanwhile, SHINee dropped their latest and comeback album titled "1 of 1" on Wednesday. Aside from that, the boy group simultaneously launched the official music video of its title track.
SHINee's "1 of 1" MV featured the five members of the boy group in their colorful retro getup, Allkpop reported. SHINee was also joined by a lot of women in the video who danced with the members.
The five-member boy group debuted under SM Entertainment in 2008 with the release of a mini-album titled "Replay." In the same year, SHINee launched their first Korean studio album "The SHINee World."
Their "1 of 1" album is their sixth Korean studio release, while SHINee has also dropped four Japanese studio albums.
The boy group is also known for their commendable efforts in helping African children. In 2009, SHINee and Girls' Generation took part in the project established by the Korean Red Cross Society and the Korean UNICEF Committee intended to reach out for the children of Africa.
