INFINITE's Sunggyu cannot stand the cold shoulder he got from "Please Take Care Of My Refrigerator" chefs as he finally broke his silence about how he was treated by them behind the cameras.
For the 100th episode of "Please Take Care Of My Refrigerator," Sunggyu was invited to be one of the guests alongside Girls' Generation member Sunny, Allkpop reported. However, the INFINITE member revealed the chefs from the variety barely notice him as they were all focused on Sunny.
"I was here with Sunny of Girls' Generation. After filming the show, everyone only paid attention to Sunny," Sunggyu said, adding that only Chef Lee Yeon Bok cared to give his calling card to the INFINITE member.
Sunggyu went on, "Chef Lee Yeon Bok said, "I know you're busy, but take care of yourself; come to my restaurant and I will cook you delicious food." I was so thankful."
The INFINITE member added he even posed for a photo with Chef Choi Hyun Suk, who went directly to Sunny to give her his calling card. "They only care about a girl group member," Sunggyu added.
Meanwhile, Sunggyu and his band INFINITE placed fourth in terms of brand reputation in October, Soompi reported. The latest data released by the Korean Business Research Institute showed BTS as the boy group with the highest brand reputation from Sept. 7 to Oct. 8.
INFINITE made their debut under Woollim Entertainment in 2010 with the release of an EP titled "First Invasion." Their first Korean studio album "Over The Top" was launched the following year.
The boy group staged their first concert in front of over 8,000 concertgoers in 2012. The two-day concert was held at the Seoul Olympic Park and was titled "Second Invasion," following INFINITE's debut album "First Invasion."
