Goldberg is set to return to the biggest wrestling entertainment stage after walking away from WWE. As his return gets closer the hype in getting in the ring with rival Brock Lesner is getting louder thanks to Lesnar's mouthpiece, Paul Heyman.

WWE's official site dropped a bombshell last Oct. 10: one of the legendary figures of WWE is set to return and he's back to settle some old scores. Goldberg is back at the helms of WWE and even though there are no formal announcements yet for his next match, the anticipated and hyped opponent is someone very familiar to the wrestler: Brock Lesnar.

The build-up for Lesnar-Goldberg rematch is getting stronger thanks to Paul Heyman. At an episode of Monday Night Raw, Lesnar's manager/mouthpiece showed up to issue a statement and challenge to Goldberg, "you're next." Lesnar was in the headline recently after his match with Randy Orton ended with the latter going out of the ring with a serious injury.

Goldberg did not directly answer Heyman's challenge. The former heavyweight champion however confirmed that he will be appearing on the upcoming Monday Night Raw to address the challenge. Goldberg is expected to say "yes" to the challenge and probably have some small dustup with Lesnar or any other wrestler in Raw to tell the wrestling world he's back.

But with all the hype and anticipation of his potential rematch with Lesnar, question still lingers on how long will he stay with the organization. According to Bleacher Report, Goldberg left WWE in 2004 due to some internal politics he's not too keen to be part of.

Goldberg's return is also a perfect opportunity for WWE to increase the sales of their upcoming game. WWE 2K17 is coming out soon with Goldberg as the cover wrestler.

It is expected that Goldberg and Lesnar will face off in the upcoming Survivor Series in November. If this happens, Goldberg will be fighting in Toronto, Canada - a place known for their hostility to the wrestler. The event should be a boost for WWE as it will display not only the current and upcoming champions but also the legendary fighters in the ring.
