The upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens 3D Blu-ray Collector's Edition" will feature a commentary from director J.J. Abrams describes a short scene that was cut in the final release. Warning, there are spoilers here to those who haven't watched the film.

According to IGN, during the sequence where the protagonist Rey went to the basement of Maz Kanata's castle, she grabs Luke's lightsaber and begins to have a vision of events that had transpired from before the film itself. However, originally Abrams mentioned that the Force-fueled flashback ("Force-back" as he would like to term it) was supposed to include a brief clip of the fight scene between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in the Cloud City of Bespin back then in "Episode V."

"There were many iterations of this," said Abrams. "In one, from [the] Cloud City corridor [Rey] looked down and saw Vader fighting Luke, which we ended up cutting."

He added by saying that the visions were more of a "personal story" for her, "something that she couldn't comprehend that was overwhelming to her. Frightening to her. That was taking her through all these elemental experiences." This also includes the part when Obi-Wan Kenobi began calling out her name.

Mentioning "Episode V" in earlier news, Kylo mentioned that the next film will have a "different tone" from "The Force Awakens," something akin to "The Empire Strikes Back," according to an interview with Collider. "Episode V" was considered to have a great script, impressive action sequences, and even a somber ending. Fans couldn't agree more to the parallels.

The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens 3D Blu-ray Collector's Edition" will be released internationally on Oct. 31 and in the United States and Canada Nov. 15.
