Capcom will have to confirm whether "Street Fighter 5" will begin having an arcade mode in future DLCs. Rumors have been also circulating that the said potential mode will have new challenges on a daily basis. Fans still wait for any confirmation and hope that the mode will come in soon especially in home versions of the game.
According to the Neofighters forum, there have been some leaks of the arcade mode (or also called challenge mode) being possibly released sometime later. The aforementioned mode will sprout out more challenges every day, along with adding variety to the each gameplay of said challenges. Players will be expected to pummel their way through the Story and Survival mode to complete the challenges and earn rewards.
Any news of this, however, hasn't been confirmed by the game's studio Capcom. But, there was this one mode that they revealed back then called Extra Mode. It is possible that the leaked information could pertain to this one in particular.
