"Pokemon Go" has been losing ground as the hype continues fade out among some of its users. Even "Ultima" creator Richard Garriott decided to call it quits with the game.

For those who don't know "Ultima" was one of those classic RPGs back in the day. It spawned a number of series of open world fantasy role-playing video games from Origin Systems, Inc., and is now owned by Electronic Arts. The game was created by Richard Garriot who also had an avatar in the game as Lord British, the fictional ruler of the kingdom of Britannia in the game.

Now, the reason why he quit "Pokemon Go" when asked on his Twitter page was due to a number of reasons, especially when it came to "grinding" in the game and the lack of compelling content.

The game still remains popular despite people like Garriot leaving the game, with recent report claiming the augmented reality game still bringing in $2 million every day from its microtransactions. Even another report claimed that under its first 90 days "Pokemon Go" was still able to make $600 million, which no game has ever made that much in history, as based on an article from Gamespot.

"Pokemon Go" is still on-going especially with its first in-game event that happens to be Halloween. With this promotion, the game was pulled back up on the Top-Grossing charts.

On Garriot's side of things, the creator is hoping to launch his current project of "Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues" for PC, which is being crowdfounded as we speak.
