Stephen Curry sets a new historical record in the NBA for most three point score made in a single game. He posted 13 three pointers in a game against New Orleans Pelicans Monday night Nov. 7.

Curry is back! The acclaimed point guard and the best three-point shooter in the NBA is back after Lakers stopped his three-point streak last Friday. He fired a historic 13 three pointers in 116-106 victory against New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, Nov. 7 at the Oracle Arena, as reported by NBA.com.

What amazing about Curry’s performance is that he came back after a shooting slump two days before. He worked hard to get his shooting back on track and his made it.

“I was hard on myself in practice the last two days,” Curry said. “Had pretty good shooting sessions…I’ve had a new level of focus the last two days trying to get my rhythm back.”

Curry was also one of the previous record holders, 12 three-pointers with Kobe Bryant, and Toronto Raptors’ Donyell Marshall. Bryant posted the record in a game against Seattle Supersonics on Jan. 7, 2003 which was tied by Marshall two years later in the Raptors game against Philadelphia 76ers on March 13. While Curry posted the 12 three-pointers last Febr. 27 aganst Oklahoma City Thunder as reported by FOX Sports.

In the game against the Pelicans, Draymond Green showed his strength in the trim protection with 10 defensive rebounds from all 12 rebounds he made. Green surprisingly also led the team with 11 assists that night. Klay Thompson has slowly began to warm up his shooting engine with 24 points.

Coach Steve Kerr has returned to his original gameplay in the Monday night game against the Pelicans. His fast ball rotation, supported by the balance of players in both back court and front court has resulted a tremendous result.
