Following his decision to depart from "Running Man" after six years, Gary is making an effort to do thing he really loves - music.
According to Allkpop, a source affiliated with Gary said the rapper will temporarily lie low from making TV appearances to prepare for something big. "He'll temporarily halt broadcast promotions and focus on his album production," a representative revealed.
The source went on, "After leaving "Running Man" he has not set any schedules for future broadcast appearances. His album production is continuing to progress. He's giving his music more focus since his departure [from "Running Man"]."
Regarding Gary's upcoming album, the representative said the rapper has no definite date as to when he will release the new music. "He'll share when a good outcome is made. No specific time frame has been confirmed yet," the source added.
Meanwhile, Gary appeared as a guest on "Running Man" on Nov. 13 after his departure from the show. Soompi reported Gary's participation was needed to finish the missions of the "Running Man" members; hence, the guest appearance.
During Gary's guest appearance on "Running Man," Song Ji Hyo could not help but give her on-screen partner a hug and said, "Gary, I'm really embarrassed right now... Last week I cried my eyes out."
The rapper then revealed how Song acted when they talked about his departure from "Running Man." Gary said, "You cried more when it was just you and me...When she met with me, she didn't talk for about 20 minutes."
Song answered she cried a lot after learning about the departure of Gary from the show, adding that she even cussed the rapper over text message for his decision.
In their recent encounter, Gary made a proposal to his on-screen partner is she wants to marry him. However, Song said no when she was asked if she would like to revive the Monday Couple of "Running Man."
