It's sad to see a great production team fall apart. Such is the case with "Deadpool's" Tim Miller who decided to leave after 20th Century Fox and actor Ryan Reynolds decided to work on creative ideas that were not his. Recently, Reynolds opened up on how "sad" he was to see the former director leave the project for the sequel.

While speaking to GQ, the actor could not express enough on how disappointed he was to see Miller walk out on the project, especially since the director brought the first "Deadpool" to life and even to be such a cinematic success.

"All I can really add is that I'm sad to see him off the film," Reynolds said. "Tim's brilliant and nobody worked harder on 'Deadpool' than he did."

Not only that, earlier reports from IGN mentioned that the composer from the first "Deadpool" movie, Junkie XL, also left the set due to Miller's departure. Junkie XL also said that this was a time to do "some soul searching."

The composer mentioned that Miller was the key component and driving for the "Deadpool" film franchise at the first place, which made him join the production team to do the score for the film at the first place.

"Deadpool without Tim at the helm just does not sit right with me and that is why I have decided not to be involved in the second chapter," Junkie XL said.

Just to reiterate the main reason of the departure, Tim Miller had ideas for the "Deadpool" sequel, mostly due to another key Marvel character Cable and the casting choice for him. Miller also wanted something of "more stylistic" approach to "Deadpool 2," but it would've cost thrice the original.

Despite the drama going on, 20th Century Fox was able to get "John Wick 2" director David Leitch to replace Miller and helm the sequel and even plan for a third movie in the franchise.
