In an interview with OSEN, Go Kyung Pyo shared his reasons for wanting to join variety show "Running Man."
Although he admitted he has not talent, Go said it would be nice to appear on variety shows, Allkpop reported. "It'll be good to go on [variety shows], but I have no talent," he said.
Go continued, "I think variety shows and "SNL Korea" have a different personality. When I was on [SNL Korea], it was like a performance. You have to plan it out and practice, so it was thought of more like a performance than a variety show."
The actor-comedian also commended those people who do variety shows, stating that the profession requires confidence and humor to make the show more effective. Go revealed he has appeared in several variety shows, however, he said it would be a great opportunity to be part of "Running Man."
"On "Running Man," you just complete the given mission, run, and participate, but I've never been contacted. In fact, Jo Jung Suk Hyung recently went on "Running Man," so I was jealous," Go said.
He added he wants to appear on the variety show with Joo Won, Min Ji Woong and Shin Joo Hwan, explaining that he is close with these people.
Go recently starred on "Don't Dare To Dream (Jealousy Incarnate)." After the drama concluded, the actor-comedian was asked whether he believes in the "Reply" series curse, Soompi cited.
However, Go said he does not believe in such thing. "When I was filming for "Reply 1988," it was such a meaningful and good time. So I just think of the term as a key word and move on. The rise and fall of popularity doesn't bother me. That's not my goal in acting," he said.
